6 inspiring blog posts about being “enough” I’m loving right now

If there’s anything I believe in wholeheartedly over here at Ditch Perfect, it’s the power of connection + community.

Running a creative business, blog, or side hustle can - at times - feel very lonely. The people around you don’t understand what it’s truly like to have big creative ideas + actually bring them to life. They question you and your commitment and sometimes you do so, too.

Then there’s the part where your inner perfectionist takes over and you spend large parts of your day wrangling her back into submission. Perfectionism has a sneaky way of leaving us isolated + questioning whether who we are and what we do is good enough.

Here’s the thing you need to know, my sweet creative friend, you don’t have to go at it alone.

There’s an entire community out there, doing great (and really important!) work in showing what running a slow, sustainable creative business that prioritizes ‘enough’ over more, more, more can really look like, that I’m excited to support.

So, without further adieu, here are 6 posts (including 1 microblog on Instagram) about being ‘enough’ that I’m loving right now.

How to embrace "good enough" in your creative business

If you’ve ever felt not good enough in your creative business (and personal life too) + you have no idea how to deal with these feelings and fears, then stick around because I’m sharing 4 loving reminders for embracing the concept of “good enough”.

Well, this is a fun topic, huh?

We all have that “I’m not good enough” thought from time to time. For you, it might show up as feeling not smart enough, not successful enough, not outgoing enough, not creative enough, not tech-savvy enough…

You feel like you “don’t have it all together” (whatever that means), so you think you’re a failure.

You’ve put in *so much* work but you’re still unhappy with where you are, because you didn’t give yourself any credit for all of the other stuff that “doesn’t count”.

Any of this ring a bell?

We each have our own version of why we think we aren’t good enough. We all do. No matter what yours is, know that it’s just a thought you’re telling yourself. And also know that it’s possible to believe new things.

That’s why, in this blog post, I’m sharing 4 reminders for creatives struggling with feeling not good enough + a few tips and exercises for getting over the fear of not enough and starting to embrace “good enough” in your creative business.

What to do when you feel like you are ‘not enough’ as an online creative

This is my third + final love letter from me to you.

In the past few weeks, I’ve shared a series of three blog posts on worthiness in creative business: doing, having + being enough.

Why, you ask?

Because there’s too much noise out there already. Courses that claim to have “proven, step-by-step systems for success”. Blog posts that share the way someone’s made “six figures in only 1 month of blogging”.

It’s too much noise + it’s making you feel inadequate, like you’re invisible, like you’re ‘behind’… all in all, not good enough.

Just so you know… you’re good enough just the way you are. You’re an amazing human being with great talents + so much to offer to the world. What you have to offer is enough. You are enough.

And that’s worth celebrating.

Today we dive into the topic of being good enough the way we are.
